This picture was taken in January and Wreckers Corner is in the heart of the hamlet, seconds from the waters edge. There is plenty of parking on the road directly outside.

The kitchen is the heart of the cottage and fabulously appointed.

Unwind inside whilst listening to the waves roll into the cove with a glass of your favourite tipple.

The kitchen has all you need to whip up holiday feasts.

The bathroom is on the ground floor and features a bath with a separate shower cubicle.

Bedroom 1 features this magnificent brass bed.

Bedroom 2 is a lovely and comfortable double.

The shower door is slightly narrower than normal.

Bedroom 3 is accessed via bedroom 2, through this stunning original door. Mind the steps!

Pop outside for an afternoon aperitif, soak in the atmosphere and soul cleansing salty sea air.

Kynance Cove is one of the UK's most photographed beaches and is just across the peninsula from Porthallow.

The island off the shore of Mullion Harbour, pictured here, is a bird sanctuary and is famous for its breeding colonies of kittiwakes, cormorants and guillemots.

Porthallow beach is one of Cornwall's best kept secrets.

Porthleven is a short drive away and is a quintessential Cornish fishing village, with a shipyard market, gorgeous eateries, clock tower and pier.

The pretty bay of Coverack is a few miles away and has sandy stretches at low tide and you can hire paddle boards and kayaks.
