The sitting-room is the heart of the cottage and enjoys a view out across your private patio to the platform.

The kitchen floods with light and has wonderful views of the platform. At the end of the kitchen you will find a small utility area and the downstairs WC.

The dining-room floods with light and looks out over your private patio and of course the platform.

The main bedroom is a comfortable size overlooking the platform at the back of the house.

Railway Cottage sits on the old railways track that runs from your back door to Newmills.

Enjoy a drink on your private patio area next to the railway.

All rooms lead off of the sitting-room including the stairs to the bedrooms. The sitting-room is comfortable and cosy for those colder months.

Watch what is happening on the line while making your morning cup of coffee.

The view from the kitchen window is very unique.

The bathroom is on the ground floor and benefits from a bath and an electric shower.

Please mind your head as you ascend and descend the stairs which are steep but benefit from a handrail.

Railway Cottage has a lovely patio-area linking through to the platform, perfect for your free ride from Launceston to Newmills.

There's private parking opposite the cottage for up to two cars.

The River Kensey runs through Launceston and is minutes from the cottage. Launceston has two town trails to help you find out more about the heritage of this market town.

One of many stunning sandy beaches on the north coast, this is Bude.

Discover Dartmoor either by bike or on foot.

The Cheesewring on Bodmin Moor, a walkers paradise!

Lanhydrock is the perfect National Trust country house and estate, with the feel of a wealthy but unpretentious family home. You can also hire bikes and head out on the marked cycle paths.

St Thomas parish church, again minutes from the cottage, offers a tranquil setting and was once the site of the largest priory in Cornwall, which was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1540.
The priory ruins are visible adjacent to the church.
