The view from 3 Thetis Place... watching the boats out on the water is absolutely mesmerising!

The first floor sitting-room embraces the wonderful views.

Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and shares the fabulous views.

What a great place for a glass of wine on a sunny evening!

The ground floor kitchen/dining-room is a wonderfully convivial place to gather.

The little courtyard outside the kitchen at the rear of the cottage is perfect for sunny summer evening meals.

The spacious kitchen/dining-room has a wood-burner (great for cosy meals in cooler months).

The kitchen area is fully equipped with all you could need for holiday living.

3 Thetis Place is the end of a small terrace of three cottages accessed through a private gateway onto their shared terrace, the house is now also painted blue.

Comfortable sofas and books to read...if you can stop looking out of the windows!

The sitting-room stretches the width of the cottage.

There is a wood-burner effect stove for chillier evenings.

This little corner looks up the river towards Penryn.

Looking over towards Flushing, what a view.

This bed can be a fabulous super -king or two twins for extra flexibility (Bedroom 2).

This lovely bedroom is on the first floor (Bedroom 2).

The family shower-room is on the first floor.

Gyllyngvase beach is a 15 minute walk away, there is a great beachside cafe/restaurant here.

The sunrises from 3 Thetis Place are just stunning (if you are up early enough).

The King Harry Ferry crosses the river Fal at Trelissick Gardens (five miles from Falmouth) to the Roseland peninsula.

The regular passenger ferry connects St Mawes to Falmouth several times a day.

Swanpool is another lovely local beach with a beach cafe and water sports on offer.

Perhaps try paddle boarding over to Flushing, which can be seen from 3 Thetis Place, for a well deserved cold pint.

Kynance Cove and the rest of The Lizard is easy to explore from this fabulous base.
