The Fal river estuary bordered by the Roseland Peninsula<\/a> to the West, Falmouth on the East and Truro to the North forms an area which is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Cornwall. With visitors basing themselves here or visiting attractions for the day it offers a wide variety of options.<\/p>\n

The Roseland is picturesque with stunning coast line and quaint towns like St Mawes, with its castle and popular with yachts in summer. St Just-in-Roseland is an exquisite place with a historic church on the banks of a creek.<\/p>\n

Truro is the principal town of Cornwall with an impressive cathedral and historic centre now a bustling place of shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n

Falmouth is at its heart a working port with large ships arriving for repairs and yards producing multi million pound yachts and motor boats.
