Situated 28 miles off Land\u2019s End, the islands are easily accessible from Southern England.<\/p>\n
There is no travel to and from the islands on a Sunday.<\/p>\n
It is not possible to take your car to the islands, but you will not need it when you are there.<\/p>\n
When arriving at the airport on St Mary\u2019s your hotel will arrange for you to be met by the local minibus\/taxi service.<\/p>\n
If you are staying on one of the other islands you will be taken to the Quay for your connecting boat trip.<\/p>\n
There is plenty of parking at the Heliport and Airports on the mainland.<\/p>\n\n
Ship; The Sciilonian III sails from Penzance from the end of March until the end of October.<\/p>\n
The ship sails once a day leaving Penzance at about 09.15 and returning from St Mary\u2019s at about 16.30 depending on the tides. The sailing time is about 2 hours.<\/p>\n\n
Plane; the flights are operated by The Isles of Scilly Skybus, and flights operate from airports on the mainland at Newquay, Land\u2019s End (St Just) and Exeter.<\/p>\n
All planes land on the island of St Mary\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n
Train; There is a frequent train service from London Paddington including an overnight sleeper service to Penzance. The train station in Penzance is next to the\u00a0 harbour making for an easy connection to the Isles of Scilly.<\/p>\n
